Rumer Willis' lesbian character on
90210 is ready for a romance, Entertainment
Weekly's Michael
Ausiello first reported.
Willis, the eldest daughter of Demi
Moore and Bruce Willis, plays Gia, a gay student at the fictional
West Beverly Hills High on the CW's reboot of the teen drama 90210.
Producers says Willis, whose gay
character has received little face time during the drama's second
season, will get a girlfriend in January. EW reports that girlfriend
will be Blaze News peer and former straight character Adrianna
(played by Jessica Lowndes).
“This isn't a fling,” Executive
Producer Rebecca Sinclair told the magazine.
“This is a real aspect of teenager
life that's interesting … And there's been a real void in the 90210
universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters,” she added.
