Actress Bella Thorne came out as
bisexual on Tuesday on Twitter.
When a follower asked her on Twitter,
“Are you bisexual?” Thorne answered, “Yes” and reposted the
tweet.
Earlier in the month, she confirmed
that she was no longer dating actor Gregg Sulkin.
“Things just didn't end up working
the way we had hoped. But I'll always love the bub,” she messaged
on August 15.
The question about her sexuality came
in response to a photo Thorne posted on Snapchat of herself kissing
another woman. The Huffington Post identified the woman as
Thorne's older brother's ex-girlfriend, Bella Pendergast.
Thorne thanked her fans for their
support: “Aww thank you for all the accepting tweets from everyone.
I love you guys,” she tweeted with three heart emoticons.
The 18-year-old Thorne is best known
for playing CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel's Shake It Up.
