In promoting her animated film Finding Dory, Ellen DeGeneres was asked to weigh in on Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

“Sure I'd have him on the show,” DeGeneres told ABC News, a reference to her daytime talk show. “I don't think he'd do the show but I would have him on.”

“What does he represent to you?” she was asked.

“He's a bully. He represents a bully,” DeGeneres answered. “He can, you know, deny that, but I think anybody – look at the definition of a bully. And he says, 'Oh, I just attack back. If someone attacks me, I'm gonna attack back.'”

DeGeneres, who married her wife in 2008, added that she's not opposed to Republicans.

“I'm not anti anything. I'm pro human being. I just don't like bullies,” she said.
