Streaming service Hulu on Tuesday
premiered Rosaline, a fairytale with an LGBT twist.

is narrated by Teri Polo (The Fosters, Meet the Parents).
In
the animated short, Rosaline travels through the woods to gather
a picnic for her sweetheart. Along the way she encounters a
conniving witch, a wolf and a fairy godmother.
Last year, Hulu released another
animated short also written by Errico. In The Bravest Knight Who
Ever Lived, pumpkin farmer Cedric finds love with a prince he
saves from a fire-breathing dragon.
“Children's media is about finding a
nurturing way to teach kids about the world around them,” Errico
said. “To me, that includes showing all forms of love and
identity in a positive light. Our job is to foster children's
wonderful, natural ability to accept themselves and others.”
