Actor Colton Haynes on Friday thanked
his fans for their “unbelievable love and support” after he came
out gay.
On Thursday, Haynes, who is best known
for his roles as Jackson Whittemore in MTV's Teen Wolf and Roy
Harper/Arsenal in The CW's Arrow,
gave his first interview in which he discussed his sexual
orientation.

Haynes told
Entertainment Weekly that “acting 24 hours a day is the most
exhausting thing in the world.”
In an Instagram
post, Haynes thanked his fans for their support.
“I can't thank
y'all enough for the unbelievable amount of support & love you've
been sending my way,” Haynes
wrote. “Special thanks to Entertainment Weekly,
@yutsai88 and Marc Snetiker for such a beautiful article.”
He concluded his
post with a quote from Ben Lorry's Stories for the Nighttime and
Some for the Day: “There once was a man who was afraid of his
shadow … he met it … now he glows in the dark.”
