Actor Max Greenfield spoke to gay
glossy The Advocate about playing gay on Greek and
Happy Endings and the next gay role he'd like to play.
The 35-year-old Greenfield played Ian
on ABC's Happy Endings and Michael on ABC Family's Greek.
“Paul James and I on Greek had
the first gay kiss on ABC Family, and we went to the GLAAD Awards and
said. “It means a lot, because you guys have the best taste.
Listen, if the gay community thinks you're doing a good job you're
in. I don't think anything gets done in this business without the
gay community – at least not anything good.”
Greenfield was also asked what gay role
he'd like to play next.
“I'd actually love to play Sonny in
Dog Day Afternoon now that it's being adapted for Broadway,”
he answered. “People don't talk about that movie that much, but
it's really a beautiful gay love story.”
Greenfield added that Ray Romano should
play his lover in that role. Greenfield and Romano are currently
working together on Ice Age: Collision Course.
