A two-minute Hallmark ad for
Valentine's Day includes a gay couple and lesbian couple discussing
their love for each other.
“And I happen to look up and at the
top of the stairs was Karisia. And I literally stopped dead on my
tracks. I was completely smitten by her,” LaParis explains about
meeting her love in a club.
“For me what's happened between Jason
and I is more than love. I feel like we've connected as family. And
it's been a beautiful experience,” Robin says as Jason holds their
daughter.
“We get each other more than kind of
anyone else on Earth,” Jason says.
On
its website, Hallmark profiles the six couples featured in the
ad.
Hallmark also produced a separate
series of videos in which each couple shares a kiss. The tagline:
“When you want to get the kiss.”
