Logo will next month premiere Gay
Skit Happens, a half hour, quarterly sketch comedy series.
According to Variety,
the show's first episode will be hosted by out actor Daniel Franzese
(Mean Girls, Looking) and is themed around Valentine's Day.
“Taped in front of a live studio
audience, the celebrity-hosted show features a combination of
traditional and music-based sketches, pop culture parodies and
recurring characters by a cast of fresh, up-and-coming sketch comedy
performers along with a few surprise cameos,” Logo said of the
show.
The show's cast of comics include Brian
Jordan Alvarez, Tara DiFrancisco, Julie Goldman, Stephen Guarino, Ken
Kirby, Lyric Lewis, Courtney Pauroso and Bill Posley.
Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day, Set
It Off) is set to host the show's second episode.
