Out singer Adam Lambert has joined the
cast of Fox's upcoming The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
According to Deadline
Hollywood, Fox has yet to announce an exact broadcast date for
the two-hour television movie.
Lambert has been cast as Eddie, a
rock-n-roller who crashes the party at Frank-N-Furter's castle.
“I grew up watching Rocky Horror,
but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision,”
Lambert
said. “Rocky Horror always made me feel like it was
okay to celebrate my weirdness. Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love
that old time rock-n-roll!”
Lambert joins a cast that includes the
previously announced Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Ryan McCartan
as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Victoria Justice as Janet and
Staz Nair as Rocky Horror.
