Actress Portia de Rossi was recently
asked what was the secret to making her marriage to Ellen DeGeneres
work.
De Rossi and DeGeneres married in 2008.
The 42-year-old star of ABC's
Scandal responded that she married her best friend.
“We're just really good friends,”
de
Rossi answered. “And we talk about everything. And we never,
ever lie to each other, like, not even the tiniest lies.”
“I know she's the only person I want
to hang out with. Like, she is my best friend. I just want to be
with her all the time.”
