Adam Lambert, Ellen DeGeneres, Holland Taylor and Chris Colfer were among the LGBT celebrities tweeting New Years wishes to their followers.

Holland Taylor, who recently came out publicly, tweeted a photo of her girlfriend, actress Sarah Paulson, wearing 2016 glasses and holding a glass of champagne.

UK rugby star Keegan Hirst, who came out last year, thanked followers for their support: “I'd like to say a big thank you to everybody for all their love and support in 2015. It was a huge help and very humbling. Happy New Year!”

Olympian Johnny Weir tweeted a photo of himself standing in front of a Christmas tree holding a glass of champagne in one hand and a vase filled with gilded twigs and colorful ornaments in the other. “Happy New Year!” he captioned the photo. “I wish you all health, success and unimaginable glamour.”

Apple CEO Tim Cook messaged: “#HappyNewYear to every corner of the world. Wishing everyone more music, less noise.”

“Happy New Years!!!” tweeted Chris Colfer, who appears in the upcoming film Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.

Singer Adam Lambert took a break from his New Year's Eve performance in Singapore to announce the arrival of the new year. “NYE!” he tweeted along with three red bow emoticons.

Orange is the New Black's Laverne Cox messaged: “Happy new year,” while talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted before midnight, “4,3,2,1, Happy New Year!!!! Close enough! We're going to bed. See you in 2016.”
