According to Deadline Hollywood, Netflix has ordered an unofficial third season of Grace and Frankie, the comedy series starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

The pickup comes before the show's second season has aired.

“Pre-production on Season 3 already is underway,” the site reported.

In Grace And Frankie, adversaries Grace (played by Fonda) and Frankie (Tomlin) are unexpectedly brought together when their husbands announce that they are gay and getting hitched to each other. Martin Sheen (The West Wing) plays Robert, Fonda's husband, while Sam Waterston (Law and Order) plays Sol, Tomlin's husband.

The series is executive produced by co-creators Marta Kauffman, who is best known for co-creating Friends, and Howard J. Morris.
