Westboro Baptist Church has blamed
Friday's attacks on civilians in Paris on gay marriage.
More than 120 people were killed by
terrorists in multiple gun and bomb attacks across Paris. ISIS has
claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The Topeka, Kansas-based church, which
is best known for coining the phrase “God hates fags,” tweeted
that it was prepared to travel to Paris with “Bible sign answers.”
“These WBC Americans are ready to
travel to Paris (again) with Bible sign answers! #ParisAttacks,”
the group tweeted.
“'How's it going, fellow fag-lover?'
he asked. @FoxNews: President Obama phones French President
Hollande. #Paris.”
“So long as you have fag marriage and
abortion, terror reigns! #godisyourenemy! #godisyourterrorist!
#ParisAttacks #ParisShooting,” Westboro Church messaged.
France approved a law allowing gay
couples to marry in 2013.
In 2009, Britain banned members of the
Westboro Church from entering the country over their plans to protest
a production of The Laramie Project, which is based on the
murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard. Officials labeled
Westboro Church a “hate group.”
