Caitlyn Jenner, Robbie Rogers,
Raven-Symone and Shamir are among the LGBT personalities to make this
year's OUT 100.
Out editors named Jenner, who
came out transgender in April, their “Newsmaker of the Year.”
Jenner said that she's “terribly
excited about the future.”
“I want to be excited about life
always. For the longest time, I was not. I isolated myself from the
world. I never felt like I fit in anywhere. Today that's all
changed,” Jenner
told the magazine.
Actress Carrie Brownstein (Portlandia)
was named “Artist of the Year,” while British singer-songwriter
Olly Alexander was honored as “Breakout of the Year.”
Also featured
this year were soccer star Robbie Rogers, actor Russell Tovey
(Looking), talk show host Raven-Symone and singer-songwriter
Shamir.
