Out interior designer Jeremiah Brent
will host the upcoming 5th season of Oprah Winfrey
Network's (OWN) Home Made Simple.
The DIY show helps deserving families
redecorate a room in their home.
“As a kid I used to love going to
open houses and doing DIY projects with my parents and sister around
our home,” said Brent. “I feel so fortunate to have been able to
take a childhood hobby and turn it into a career and as the new host
of Home Made Simple I can't wait to help use my passion for
design and help other families learn fun and creative ways to
makeover their own homes and their lives.”
Brent's last television stint was
starring as an assistant on Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project,
the reality documentary series featuring celebrity stylist Rachel
Zoe.
Brent married fellow designer Nate
Berkus last year and the couple welcomed daughter Poppy earlier this
year.
The new season of Home Made Simple
premieres Saturday, November 14 on OWN.
