Out singer Elton John will release the
debut single from his upcoming studio album on Friday.
The upbeat single Looking Up
from John's 33rd album, Wonderful Crazy Night, will
be available on October 23.
Wonderful Crazy Night will be be
released February 5, 2016 on Island Records. It is available for
preorder on iTunes
now.
The new album was co-produced by John
and T-Bone Burnett and recorded at The Village in Los Angeles.
John and Burnett collaborated on The
Diving Board and The Union.
In Wonderful Crazy Night, John
also reunites with songwriter Bernie Taupin, drummer Nigel Olsson,
and guitarist Davey Johnstone.
The album also marks John's return to
Island Records, where he released 2006's The Captain & The Kid
and 1975's Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.
