Ellen DeGeneres, Caitlyn Jenner, Ellen Page and Matt Bomer were among the LGBT celebrities who tweeted their support for GLAAD's Spirit Day.

The 6th annual Spirit Day supports efforts to combat the bullying of LGBT teens. Supporters are encouraged to wear purple.

“Go PURPLE now and take a stand against bullying for #SpiritDay,” tweeted Jazz Jennings, star of TLC's I Am Jazz.

Actress Teri Polo (The Fosters) messaged: “Don't just think it, don't just feel it, BE love!!! #SpiritDay”

Matt Bomer (American Horror Story: Hotel) and Daniel Franzese (Looking) urged followers to “go purple for #SpiritDay!” “Because every kid should feel safe at school!” Franzese added.

I Am Cait star Caitlyn Jenner tweeted a photo of herself with purple painted nails.

“Be kind to one another #Spirit Day,” Ellen DeGeneres said.
