The comedy series Please Like Me
returns for a third season Friday on Pivot.
The show stars Australian comedian Josh
Thomas as he struggles to accept his sexuality.
In the show's pilot, Josh's girlfriend
breaks up with him over fears he might be gay, an allegation he
denies. But before the episode is over, Josh is introduced to
Geoffrey, an odd but attractive man, and the pair head out on a date.
In subsequent seasons Josh continues to
date men.
In announcing the upcoming third
season, producers said viewers can expect “storylines concerning
online dating, coming out, STDs, adultery, and raising chickens (yes,
chickens).”
Pivot, which describes its target
demographic as “passionate millennials,” also announced that the
first two seasons of Please Like Me will be available to
stream on Hulu.
