Television personality NeNe Leakes says
she finds Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump “so funny”
but wouldn't vote for him.
The 47-yea-old Leakes is best known for
being on the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives
of Atlanta. She also played Roz Washington on Fox's musical
comedy Glee and appeared on Celebrity Apprentice 4,
which was hosted by Trump.
In a recent Huffington
Post interview, Leakes discussed her support for the LGBT
community.
“I've always loved supporting the
LGBT community,” she said. “I grew up with a couple of gay guys.
Besides loving the gays personally myself, I feel like they
influence everything, from nail polish to high heels to lip gross to
everything you can think of. … I always participate in Gay Pride.
If I can go out and show up, I always do.”
When asked whether she would vote for
Trump if he were the Republican nominee, Leakes said that Trump got
her interested in following the debates.
“I think Donald's doing a great job.
I think he's gaining a lot of momentum, and he knows how to work that
press. And I'll tell you what – I've never looked at a debate
before and I've been watching. It's so interesting. He's so funny
to me. I like Donald. I like working with him and all those things.
But actually, I'm not a Republican,” she answered.
