YouTube star Shane Dawson on Tuesday
came out bisexual.
The 25-year-old Dawson made the
announcement in a nearly 15-minute video titled I'm Bisexual.
“I'm making this video because I feel
like it can help a lot of people,” Dawson
told viewers. “I am bisexual.”
“I just like both genders, and I
don't want to feel bad about that.”
“I feel like a lot of you might be
confused and scared and [are] not talking about it. I'm here for

The video has been viewed more than
867,000 times as of Tuesday night.
Dawson's main YouTube channel, Shane
Dawson TV, has nearly 7 million subscribers. His comedy videos
feature recurring characters, impersonations of celebrities and
politicians such as Paris Hilton and Sarah Palin, and spoofs of music
videos and popular television shows.
