Caitlyn Jenner made a surprise
appearance at a New York City LGBT Pride event over the weekend.
According to Entertainment Tonight,
Jenner, 65, attended a performance of Candis Cayne's DayDream
show at the Dream Downtown Hotel's PH-D rooftop lounge. Cayne is
best known for playing transgender mistress Carmelita on the ABC
drama Dirty Sexy Money, which
made her the first transgender actress to play a recurring
transgender character on primetime television.
Cayne dedicated the song I Am a
Woman to Jenner, who wore a white dress.
The appearance was filmed for E!'s
upcoming reality series I Am Cait.
“She showed grace and beauty and
represented what this weekend is all about,” Dan
Steele Green told ET. “Caitlyn was definitely feeling it –
yet kept to herself and just genuinely enjoyed the afternoon.”
