Elliot Spencer says he and husband
Steven Fry faced homophobia while honeymooning in Honduras, though he
revealed few details.
British actor-tv personality Fry, 57,
and Spencer, a 27-year-old stand-up comic, married in January. At
the time, Fry said that an “adventure” of a honeymoon would have
to wait.
“We had a problem when we visited
Honduras on holiday,” Spencer told the Daily Mail. “It
was homophobia. I don't want to go into detail, but we had to
leave.”
He added: “Stephen takes me on his
travels and he educates me. Many of the countries Stephen's been to
before, but he likes to see them through new eyes with me. It has
been an amazing bonding experience.”
