Twin brothers Aaron and Austin Rhodes,
known as The Rhodes Bros, discussed their viral coming out video in
an interview with Ellen DeGeneres this week.
Last week, the brothers posted an
emotional 8-minute video in which they came out gay to their father.
“I mean I don't really know how else
to put it but, like, … I'm gay and Austin is too,” Aaron told his
father in
the video.
“You know I love you both. That'll
never change,” the father responded.
The brothers told DeGeneres that they
came out to each other at 16.
“My parents got divorced when we were
really young, so we didn't really have that close relationship with
our dad,” Aaron said.
Dad told DeGeneres that he was “very
proud” of his sons and that “there's a weight off both our
sides.”
“Now we can talk about anything,”
he said. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit
