Michael Sam says he'll keep fighting to
make his dream of playing in the NFL come true.
The 24-year-old Sam is the first openly
gay player to be drafted by the NFL. But he was cut by the St. Louis
Rams before the start of the season. He then joined the Cowboys'

his personal triumphs and challenges.
“When I came out several months ago,
I thought it would be easy. All I wanted to do was just play
football. But it was much bigger than that,” Sam said in the

Despite being without an NFL team, Sam
said he was not ready to give up just yet.
“I'm not afraid to continue on this
