Cher on Thursday announced the
cancellation of her remaining Dressed to Kill tour due to illness.
In September, Cher, 68, canceled a
number of dates due to a viral infection.
According to a statement, doctors have
advised Cher to take “additional rest” to ensure a full recovery.
“Shortly before returning to the road
in September, she was felled by an infection that affected her kidney
function,” the statement reads. “While her progress has been
consistent, Cher's doctors have advised her to take more time to
ensure a complete and total recovery.”
Cher apologized to her fans in a
series of tweets.
“Am Trying 2 'Let go & Let God,'
but I suck at Letting Go & Letting Anybody! This is a CRUSHING
BLOW 4 ME & IM BEYOND SORRY [heartbreak emoticon] 4 DISSAPOINTING

“Appreciate your understanding … U

to Kill's 49-stop schedule.
