If you're feeling pangs of gay pride withdrawal, or you missed out on the parade, then make certain to plan on being in Montreal for Divers/Cité.

Divers/Cité is a giant gay festival over 6 days (July 29 to August 3) in Montreal, Canada. It features two giant entertainment stages cordoned off in the middle of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

For its sweet sixteen party, Divers/Cité invited R&B singer Deborah Cox to perform. The show features choreography by Jean-Marc St-Yves. The Canadian Cox will perform some of her sizzling hits in a very special show.

Divers/Cité has built its reputation on huge parties with something for everyone. In fact, it's too much to list here, but here are the highlights:

Tuesday, July 29th: 1, Boulevard des Reves brings together some of Quebec's most amazing vocal talents on one stage for an unforgettable evening under the stars.

Wednesday, July 30th: Traffic is this year's newest event. It is set to feature Toronto's hard-rocking power band The Clicks.

Thursday, July 31st: Now in its 10th year Cachondo, la noche latina offers up a flaming menu of Latin rhythms and salsa stylings with the Montreal premiere of Hombre, an eclectic electro project. Afterwards, dance the night away with DJ Fernando “Loco” Baldeon at the Cachondo Party at Stereo Bar.

Friday, August 1st: This year's New Society features the remarkable live dance act Second Sun.

Saturday, August 2nd: A five-hour gender bending tour-de-force, Mascara, la nuit des drags turns the street into a catwalk of fabulous fierceness. The Sunset Party reverberates with a positively Brazilian beat! The party features DJs Ana Paula, Rafael Calvente and Ale Bittencourt. With more than 1,000 eager party-goers in attendance, Lesbomonde is an extravaganza of girls, music, and so much more – making it the event to not even consider missing for queer girls. DJs include the legendary Susan Morabito, along with Torus and Pascale McCoy.

Sunday, August 3rd: Deborah Cox makes her first Divers/Cite appearance at Le Grand Bal Disco. Tying up the birthday bash with a big red ribbon, La Grande Danse has a grand finale featuring Nicola Torriero and Jester with singers Patsy Gallant and Yan Lavoie.

Additional cultural events run alongside this calendar of spectacular shows and parties. Most of Divers/Cité's programs are free!

Prepare for party exhaustion, then head north to Divers/Cité this summer.
