Music artists Eli Lieb, Neon Hitch and
Alex Newell are among the performers set appear this weekend at GLAAD
Gala San Francisco: Game Changers.
Saturday's event will be hosted by
actress Taryn Manning, who plays Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett in
the Netflix hit comedy Orange is the New Black.
Stephan Jenkins, frontman for the band
Third Eye Blind, will perform the group's seminal 90s hit Jumper,
which
urges understanding for a gay teen contemplating suicide.
Lieb
will perform his single Young
Love
and Hitch will headline the event's after party.
GLAAD
previously announced that Golden
State Warrior President and COO Rick Welts will receive its Davidson
/ Valentini Award
and Google
and YouTube will receive the Ric Weiland Award
at the gala.
