Australian singer Kylie Minogue and
actors John Barrowman and Josh Hutcherson have accepted the ice
bucket challenge in support of the ALS Association.
The group's #IceBucketChallenge helps
raise awareness and funds to help in the fight to find a cure for
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrics Disease), a
neurodegenerative disease.
Seated poolside in a lounge chair,
Barrowman orders a cocktail from his “boy.” Husband Scott Gill –
dressed in nothing more than a red jockstrap – delivers Barrowman's
order by dousing the star with a bucket of ice water. (The video is

Hutcherson, a strong advocate of gay
rights, jumps
into a pool to warm up after taking the challenge.
The New York Times reported on
Friday that the ice bucket challenge has raised over $41.8 million.
Gay icon Minogue says she was nominated
by Ricky Martin and Benedict Cumberbatch and in turn dared Dolce &
Gabbana's Stefano Gabbana, who is standing next to her on the deck of
a boat. The
pair lift buckets of ice cold water and pour them over
themselves.
