For actor Zachary Quinto, kids might
not be on his bucket list
The 37-year-old Quinto came out gay in
2011.
In an interview with gay male
entertainment blog TheBacklot.com
to promote his upcoming Starz docuseries The Chair, Quinto,
who is best known for playing Spock in recent Star Trek films,
was asked whether marriage and kids are on his personal bucket list.
“It’s so funny,” Quinto
responded. “I’m going to get in so much trouble for saying this,
but I’ve always really wanted to have a kid but now all of my
friends have kids and I’ll come in from a trip or hang out with my
friends and their kids. I’m thrilled to hang out with them, but by
the time they’re ready to go home I’m so ready for them to go
home. I’m kind of like, ‘I need to re-evaluate this. I don’t
know.’ I feel like one day at a time. I’m open to any of it, but
I’m not locked into any of it either. I feel like it will all
unfold as it’s meant to. The balance is delicate.”
TheBacklot.com described The Chair,
which premieres September 6, as “One screenplay. Two directors.
And a film career could be born.”
