Anti-gay activist Peter LaBarbera,
president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), worries
young people are losing their natural opposition to gay rights.
LaBarbera made his comments during an
interview last week with former Infowars reporter David Ortiz.
“My attitude is: If homosexuality was
so normal, why is it every man's instinctive response at first is to
be disgusted by that?” Ortiz asked. “You need to be brainwashed
into accepting it, 'cause initially, intuitively, every straight man
is disgusted by that. I personally think they're trying to beat the
decency out of you. I think homophobia is actually normal. It's
intuitive.”
LaBarbera agreed, adding that
“homophobia” was a made up word.
“You're absolutely right, there is a
natural inhibition against homosexual behavior,” he said. “I'm
worried that young people are so brainwashed and they're so
indoctrinated that they're losing that natural sense that we have.”
