Andy Cohen, the host of Bravo's late
night talk show Watch What Happens Live, says he always knew
that he was gay.
Cohen explained during an appearance on
Larry King Now that he “just knew.”
“How did you know?” King asked.
“I just knew,” Cohen replied. “I
feel like my dad used to take me to his tennis club and he would go
play tennis. I think I was probably a little too interested in what
was going on in the locker room. I think that was kind of my first
clue. … And I was young then.”
“I just always knew.”
Cohen added that he was “shocked by
the progression of” marriage equality, and “so happy.”
When asked to explain increasing
support, Cohen credited television.
“I actually think visibility on
television has had a fair amount to do with it,” he said. (The
