In MTV's new comedy Faking It,
two teens fake being a lesbian couple in order to gain popularity. The only problem is, one of the girls isn't so sure she's faking it.
Amy (played by Rita Volk) and Karma
(Katie Stevens) are unpopular at Hester High, despite their best
efforts. When the best friends are mistakenly outed as lesbians at a
party thrown by Shane (Michael Willett), their popularity soars.
They continue the charade to remain in the school's “in” crowd.
Meanwhile, Amy confesses to Shane, the
most popular boy at Hester High, who also happens to be gay, that she
