Actor Kevin Spacey, who currently stars
as Frank Underwood in the Netflix series House of Cards, isn't
discussing his private life.
The 54-year-old Spacey, who is also
known for memorable roles in American Beauty, L.A.
Confidential and The Usual Suspects, has long dodged
rumors about his sexual orientation.
The Hollywood Reporter recently
noted in a profile feature that Spacey's closely guarded private life
might date back to a 1997 Esquire story which suggested he was
gay.
“[H]is affable demeanor shuts off the
moment he is asked about” his private life, the
glossy wrote.
“Let's let people live their lives
and do it the way they want to do it,” Spacey said. “All the
chips will fall in the end, and we'll all be judged by a much higher
power than Entertainment Weekly can.”
Spacey currently resides in London,
where he's the artistic director of The Old Vic theater.
