Actor-comedian Zach Galifianakis jokes
if he were elected president he would ban gay divorce.
Galifianakis, who is best known for
playing Alan Garner in The Hangover trilogy, made the joke
during an interview with President Barack Obama.
The interview is part of an ongoing
skit titled Between Two Ferns.
“Have you heard of the Affordable
Care Act?” Obama asked.
“Oh yeah, I heard about that. That's
the thing that doesn't work. Why would you get the guy that created
the Zune to make your website?” Galifianakis rhetorically asked.
“HealthCare.gov works great now,”
the president replied.
“You know what I would do if I were
president, Mr. President? I would make same-sex divorce illegal.
Then see how bad they want it,” Galifianakis said.
“I think that's why you're not
president,” Obama said.
