Stephen Fry will play host to a musical wedding to celebrate the start of Britain's gay marriage law.

Gay and lesbian couples will begin exchanging vows on Saturday, March 29.

Fry will narrate a 60-minute special for Channel 4 titled Our Gay Wedding: The Musical, in which composer Benjamin Till and West End actor Nathan Taylor will tie the knot.

Fry's commentary will be accompanied by songs penned by the grooms.

“We've been together for nearly 12 years and never thought we'd get the chance to get married, for real,” the couple told The Independent. “Doing what we both do for a living has meant that we've spent our entire lives expressing emotion through song, so getting married in a musical, particularly one that we're writing ourselves, felt like the most natural thing in the world.”
