“I am here today because I am gay,” Page, 26, told a Time to THRIVE audience in Las Vegas on Friday.

“Wishing all the love and support in the world to @EllenPage,” former NBA player Jason Collins tweeted. “Thank you for sharing your story with us.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a co-star of ABC's Modern Family, said he loved Page's message.
