Rosie O'Donnell returns to ABC's The
View on Friday, February 7.
O'Donnell's appearance marks the first
time she has returned to the talk show since co-hosting season ten
(2006-2007).
In a brief clip release by producers,
O'Donnell receives a warm welcome from the audience and co-hosts.
“It's good to have you back on the
couch, my dear,” Barbara Walters tells O'Donnell. “How does it
feel?”
“It feels kind of weird. Yeah, it
does. But good weird,” O'Donnell responds.
Walters, an executive producer of the
show, said in a statement: “I have great affection for Rosie and we
have remained in contact through the years. I am happy to welcome
her back to the program. She is always a lively and engaging guest
and a part of the show's successful history.”
The 51-year-old O'Donnell married
Michelle Rounds in New York on June 9, 2012. She currently guest
stars on the ABC Family drama The Fosters, which
revolves around a two-mom family.
According to an ABC
press release, O'Donnell shares “how her life dramatically
changed since leaving The View and makes a declaration that
even she thought she would never say” during Friday's appearance.
