A documentary about a man's quest to
find out if size really matters arrives on DVD November 26.
UNHUNG HERO premiered in March
at South by Southwest (SXSW), Austin's annual film, interactive and
music festival and conference, to enthusiastic crowds.
The film opens with Patrick Moote's
public marriage proposal to his girlfriend before thousands of people
in a packed arena and millions of YouTube viewers. She turns him
down, saying his equipment is too small to satisfy her.
Disappointed, Moote decides to go on a
worldwide quest to figure out whether size matters and whether there
is any safe and reliable way to increase his endowment.
Along the way, Moote interviews sex
advice columnist Dan Savage and porn star Annie Sprinkle.
“The male body was not subject to a
critical gaze, and now it is,” Savage tells Moote in the film.
“Everybody wants to have a big
penis,” says Dr. Joel Kaplan, who sells various penis enlargement
products at his website DrJoeKaplan.com.
