House Representatives Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida and Alan
Lowenthal of California have recorded a video calling on colleagues
to join the NOH8 Campaign, which raises awareness and funds for gay
rights causes.
The campaign will hold its NOH8 on the Hill photo session on
Wednesday, October 2.
“Over the past three years more than 100 members of Congress
have joined together with the NOH8 Campaign to stand up for
equality,” Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican, says in the nearly 1-minute
video.
“Standing together, we have added our voices to the growing call
for equal rights for all Americans,” added Lowenthal, a Democrat.

During the campaign's third NOH8 on the Hill photo session in
June, Ros-Lehtinen became the first congressional Republican to pose
for a photo shoot.
