Amber Tamblyn: 'Two And A Half Men' Lesbian Character's Sexuality Secondary

Amber Tamblyn joins the cast of Two and a Half Men when it returns for its 11^th season on Thursday, September 26.

Tamblyn (The sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, House) plays Jenny, the late Charlie Harper's (played by Charlie Sheen) long-lost daughter.

In the premiere, Jenny shows up on the beach house doorstep after moving to Los Angeles from New York City to pursue a career in show business.

During an appearance on HuffPost Live, Tamblyn said that her character is about fun, not politics.

“I think this is pure, unadulterated fun,” Tamblyn said. “It's a sitcom. It's entertainment at its purest; fantastic writing. It's funny people doing funny things.
