The Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday announced its first LGBT Night
Out at Dodger Stadium.
The first annual LGBT Night Out will take place on Friday,
September 27 as the boys in blue take on the Colorado Rockies. The
team said that the event will feature a celebrity first pitch, a
fireworks show with music by DJ Manny Lehman, and the national anthem
performed by a special guest accompanied by the Gay Men's Chorus of

Dodger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen
said in a statement. “We are especially proud to welcome and
recognize the LGBT community in Los Angeles, an integral part of the
city and of the Dodgers community.”
