Lance Bass is engaged to marry boyfriend Michael Turchin.
Bass proposed shortly after the 'Nsync reunion during MTV's Video
Music Awards, according to Us Weekly.
“He said YES!! Love this man,” Bass captioned an Instagram
photo of Turchin displaying the engagement ring.
Bass, the radio host of Sirius Dirty
Pop with Lance Bass, explained on his radio show that he
proposed to Turchin in New Orleans in front of Jackson Square.
“As we were walking to 'pick up [producer] Sam,' I started
talking about, you know, the last two-and-a-half years and this other
stuff and I got down on one knee and I proposed right in front of
Jackson Square, my favorite place,” Bass said.
He added that a couple walking by caught of photo of Bass on one
knee proposing marriage.
Twenty-six-year-old Turchin, an aspiring actor and model, said
that he's been ready to marry since he was ten.
“Yeah, he's going to be a great husband,” Bass, 34, said.
“And the the best thing about it, he's going to be such a great
dad.”
Bass said that the wedding wouldn't happen until sometime next
year.
