Los Angeles-based indie revival pop group Father Tiger's video for their single First Love has a surprising gay ending.

Father Tiger consists of Greg Delson and John Russell, who discovered their own unique sound in 2005 while attending audio engineering school.

The group's Summer Solstice – The Covers Album is the 3rd in a 4-EP Equinox and Solstice project which also includes Winter Solstice, and Vernal Equinox. Autumnal Equinox arrives in September.

On Thursday, Delson and Russell released the video for the track First Love. The group said in a press release that partial proceeds from the single will go to marriage equality groups, including Freedom to Marry, American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), and Lambda Legal. The venue used to film the video contributed their fee to the Gay and Lesbian Center of Los Angeles.

In the video, Delson and Russell are playing a wedding. Through flashbacks we learn that the supposed bride and groom have known each other since they were toddlers. As the couple prepares to exchange vows, a dramatic twist is revealed. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
