Two-member musical group A Great Big
World on Sunday released a video for their new single Everyone is
Gay.
Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino
collectively make up A Great Big World. The group is best know for
their hit single This
Is The New Year, which was featured in a recent episode of
Fox's Glee. It went on to become the theme song for MTV's I
Used To Be Fat.
“We are so proud and excited to
release the new music video for our song Everyone Is Gay,”
the duo wrote in
announcing the video.
The group said they were challenged to
write the “gayest song ever” by Kristin Russo and Dannielle
Owens-Reid, the creators of the site EveryoneIsGay.com,
which offers advice to LGBT youth.
“And this song was the result! We
believe in their mission and stand by all those who live in fear of
being their authentic selves. NO ONE deserves to be bullied or
treated unfairly based on sexual preference. Diversity should be
