Jennifer Tyrrell has posed for the NOH8 Campaign, which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California's 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

Tyrrell is the Ohio mom who last year was ousted as den leader of her son's Boy Scout troop because she is a lesbian. She is an outspoken opponent of the Boy Scouts of America's (BSA) ban on openly gay scouts and leaders and recently joined the campaign to repeal Ohio's 2004 constitutional amendment which prohibits the state from recognizing any other union than heterosexual marriage.

The NOH8 Campaign's Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley photograph celebrities, politicians, professional athletes and everyday folks with their mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek.

In her photo, Tyrrell wears a Scouts uniform as she gives the Boy Scouts sign.
