The Christian conservative group Faith
2 Action on Tuesday released a short video in which a man comes out
as an adulterer to his wife and son and demands to be validated.
“What I'm trying to say is I have
these desires, these urges,” a man tells his wife as they sit side
by side on a quilt-covered couch. “And if I don't act on them, I'm
not really being true to myself.”
“If you love me, you'll support what
I do, who I am. I'm … an adulterer,” he says as the camera zooms
out to reveal a second woman sitting on the couch.
“I am so proud of you for finally
coming out,” the second woman says.
“Well, aren't you proud of me?” the
man asks his wife.
When the wife asks her husband about
their wedding vows, he hands her a sign that reads, “If you love
me? Then love adultery!” He later gives his son a sign for the
adultery pride parade which reads, “Kids 4 Adultery. Way 2 Go
Dad!”
The clip ends with Peter LaBarbera of
Americans For Truth About Homosexuality comparing being gay to
alcoholism. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit
