Bryan Fischer of the Christian conservative American Family Association (AFA) on Friday urged a woman to flee a gay-inclusive church.

Fischer warned the caller to his Focal Point radio show that her church's acceptance of gays threatened to corrupt her children.

“You need to get out of there,” Fischer told the woman. “And you need to get your kids out of there. That's a wrong environment for you. It's the wrong environment for your children. They're going to be in an environment where homosexuality is going to be presented as a normal healthy alternative to heterosexuality. You do not want them getting that deception, that falsehood, into their heads, because if they believe that and they act on that, it will destroy them. It will destroy them in body, in soul, in spirit.”

“I appeal to you Vicky, get out of there.”

Fischer added that she should find a church run by a “happily married pastor” who “has a biblical view of homosexuality that it is a sin [and] that it's not something that a healthy society ever ought to embrace.” (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
