Bryan Fischer of the Christian
conservative American Family Association (AFA) on Friday asserted
that the success of the gay rights movement depends on not talking
about gay sex.
Fischer told his Focal Point
audience that the thought of gay sex would “gross” most people
out.
“Homosexual activists when they
wanted to overhaul straight America, part of their very deliberate
strategy, and they put this in writing, it wasn't like it's a secret.
They said, 'Keep the eyes of Americas off what it is that
homosexuals do when they come together. Don't let them think about
that. Don't talk about. Keep the topic of conversation as far away
from that as you possibly can, because if people start thinking about
what it is we actually do when we come together, it's going to gross
them right out and we'll never even get to first base,'” Fischer
said.
“So, they understand that there is a
visceral moral reaction that most people have to that kind of sexual
activity because it is deviant behavior.” (The video is embedded
