Megan Mullally, Paul Iacono and Michael J. Willett star in the teen comedy GBF, which premieres next month at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

In the film, Tanner (played by Willett) and Brent (Iacono) are closeted best friends.

Brent believes coming out gay will make him instantly popular, while Tanner is trying to get through high school without being noticed.

When Brent's plan to out himself and become the hottest must-have teen girl “accessory,” the gay best friend, goes wrong and Tanner is outed instead, the pair go from best friends to instant frenemies.

The school's most popular girls – played by Sasha Pieterse, Xosha Roquemore and Andrea Bowen – launch an all-out social war to win Tanner's friendship in an effort to boost their own status.

Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) plays Brent's overly accepting mother.

The film is from director Darren Stein (Jawbreaker) and writer George Northy. (A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
