Actress-author-comedian Amy Sedaris
guest stars in the fourth episode of F to 7th.
The comedy web series features Ingrid
Jungermann's screen alter ego Ingrid, a middle aged lesbian.
The show describes Ingrid as a neurotic
making her way in New York City: “Judgmental as ever, Ingrid is
stuck somewhere between FTM and PSP as she struggles to find herself
in a world where sexuality and gender have left her old-fashioned
lesbianism behind.”
F
to 7th follows Ingrid after breaking up
with her girlfriend in the recent web series The Slope, which
Jungermann co-created with Desire Akhavan.
In the episode, the protagonist
reminisces over lunch with her aunt Kate, played by Sedaris.
After checking out the waitress,
feigning disgust over a lesbian couple making out on a flight to Las
Vegas, flirting with two women sitting at a nearby table, revealing
that she likes Ellen DeGeneres, and discussing her love for golf and
Subarus, Kate accuses Ingrid of always wanting “to talk about gay
shit.”
“Can we have lunch without talking
about gay crap,” the aunt stammers. “Mike and I haven't had sex
in 3 years.”
“I don't need to know that,” Ingrid
responds.
“I don't either. But let me tell you
something: Every kid needs a father. You know, kids need a dad.”
“My dad left me.”
“Exactly. Look where that got you:
Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.” (The video is embedded on this page.
